Hibiscus Simple Syrup


  • 2 cup water
  • 1 1/2 cup sugar
  • ½ cup of Hibiscus
  • Juice of a Lemon or/and orange


Combine water, sugar and hibiscus in a small saucepan; bring to the boil, stirring until sugar is dissolved. Simmer and add Juice. Remove from heat; let steep until cool.

Strain; cover and keep chilled. Transfer to an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a month.

Don't throw out the Hibiscus - Take the Hibiscus that you strained add to blender and use over ice-cream with a drizzle of the syrup you made – Delish!
